I would like to thank over 30 volunteers who came out Saturday morning and helped in the restoration process of Evergreen Speedway! Pressure washing, sanding, and general clean up duties began at 10am and lasted until dark. The pride of community and the track are alive and well, of which I cannot thank everyone enough. We will have work parties over the next few weeks. We completed the 5/8s barriers and moved to the inside walls of the 3/8s. The Grandstands and walkways are being freed from layers of wind, water and sun spots. The Officials and VIP booths are being updated with a new face lift. The race office should be done this next week. Will be nice to have a desk!
