NASCAR SEASON OPENER

For those not following our evergreenspeedway.com updates, we would like to thank everyone who came to our season opener!  Since our move-in to the track office in early March, it has been a whirlwind of cleaning, organizing and rebuilding.  We have only just begun, but much progress has been made.Thank you again to the volunteers and staff for getting us to the starting line.  Our work will never be done, but it is good to get a start on the new season.  High hopes, higher goals and new standards will be achieved this new year.  With all changes come those high hopes and new perceptions.  We are proud of our new home, our commitment to the racing world and our business partners.
While we had a successful opener is many ways, we experienced several matters below our standards of operation. Fixing problems, rather than fixing blame or making excuses is our commitment to our customers.
Longer than anticipated food lines were addressed on Monday morning with Premiere Food Services with steps to correct the issues by our next event this Saturday. Debit/Credit card lines added to the concessions along with express beverages and food server lines. Premiere Food Management guarantees additional staff will be on hand throughout the remainder of the season. We know our success will be graded by your overall experience. While we generate NO money from parking or food/beverage services, it is our responsibility to ourselves and our patrons to require the County and its vendors to provide superior products at competitive prices. Our goal is to be good promoters, not policemen. We already have great law enforcement officers!
Evergreen Speedway's ticketing staff have tested all the new phone lines and card machines in the ticket offices. Greeters will be outside the grandstands to answer questions and assist in speeding up cash and credit /debit lines to the track. Ticket takers will check hand stamps and pit passes. We look forward to a great NASCAR opening night.  The front gates open at 4:00 pm. Back gates open at Noon this week. Special opening night celebrations begin at 5:00pm driver meet and greet autograph session, and live concert provided by the US ARMY band from Ft. Lewis. Invocation and National Anthem at 6:00pm.  Followed by the best asphalt racing in the Pacific Northwest!
Thank you!  Come enjoy Fan Appreciation Night!  Adults / $11.00  Jrs. 7-17 / $5.00  6 and under free!
